Pilates method matwork ~ these classes offer an opportunity to pay attention to breath, alignment, movement quality, and integration of easeful core support. By increasing our capacity to move with fluid support and perceptual awareness we are more able to move with ease and enjoyment in our daily activities. The Pilates method matwork exercises are tools to help us become aware of how we prepare for movement, how we move, and how we can be more fully present in ourselves as we move.
In-person classes ~ at Trout Lake Community Centre: please pre-register for the class series
Beginner Pilates matwork on Wednesdays at 6pm to 7:10pm, January 13th to March 3rd. Spring session starts April 14th.
Intermediate Pilates matwork on Wednesdays at 7:30pm to 8:40pm, January 13th to March 3rd. Spring session starts April 14th.
Online Pilates matwork classes:
Qigong and Beginner Pilates matwork on Mondays at 11am to 12:15pm (please note new time effective Feb 22nd). We start with a Qigong-based warm-up and continue with beginner level Pilates matwork exercises.
Pilates matwork on Mondays at 6:30pm to 7:45pm, mixed-levels.
