Qigong movement classes

Friday morning Qigong movement classes ~ 9:30am via zoom

Each class starts with a Qigong-based warm-up and sessions will include Qigong forms and practices informed by somatic movement practices to deepen our explorations.

Qigong means energy cultivation, or energy work. Qigong, like its sibling practice, Taiji or Tai Chi (energy training), is ancient system of movement and intention. These practices support health through a whole body, systemic perspective. It is my perspective that most cultures either have, or had, practices of health and well-being that involve breath, movement, and intention. It is from this perspective that I share these Qigong movement practices.

These sessions are free, I invite you to participate in the circle of generousity & reciprocity. How might we direct our resources (money, time, care, attention) to what supports the well-being of current and future generations. You are invited to be guided by this perspective – to be free to choose what evokes the felt-sense you experience in the Qigong movement classes as you “pay-it-forward” in a way that feels congruent for you.
